Rollin'

He did it! Little Peanut rolled from from tummy to back on Sunday, March 29. He did it while he was playing with daddy. I missed it but got to see him do it again last night! Pics to come soon!

Four Months!

This post is a bit overdue as Little Peanut is more like 4 1/2 months old. Things have been crazy lately and this is the first time I have had a chance to post. Anyway, Little Peanut had his 4 month appointment on Monday and everything is looking great! He did pretty good with the shots but had quite a fussy day on Tuesday. He ran a lowgrade fever all day and just wasn't his normal, happy self.

He also got the ok to try some solid foods. He has been eating oatmeal cereal for the past couple of weeks and absolutely LOVES it. Tonight he had his first sampling of sweet potatoes and he thought those were pretty good, too.

Although everyone says it, we truly can't believe he is already four months old! He is such a sweet, happy baby and we just can't get enough of him. He loves eating, taking baths, jumping in his "jumperoo" and being talked/read to. The two things he really does not enjoy are tummy time and burping. We are cherishing each moment because we are now realizing how truly fast the time goes!
Stats:
Weight: 15lbs 6 ozs -50%
Height: 26" - 75%
Head circ: 41.5 cm - 25%

Johanna Mathilda Mulder

Little peanut is so excited to meet his new cousin, Johanna Mathilda Mulder! Johanna arrived today at 8:07 a.m. She is absolutely adorable and both mommy and baby Joey are doing great! She is off for a bath right now, but I will be sure to get more pics soon!

Gerber Baby

Little Peanut tried rice cereal for the first time (again) last night. Saying this was his first attempt would be untrue. He actually tried cereal when he was about 2 1/2 months old in an attempt to help with his favorite pasttime - spitting up. After an unsuccessful try, we decided to delay it a bit. Yesterday, he turned four months old and we decided to give it a try once again. He did much better this time and seemed to like the cereal overall. Maybe giving him cereal will lead to less changes of clothes and less laundry. I can dream, right?!

This is What Happens When Mommy Leaves to Work Out and Leaves Little Peanut with Daddy....

After working out last night, I came upstairs to see this:

My pukey son was having his most-hated "tummy time" and decided he had enough. Too bad he laid down right where he had spit up. Poor baby!

Life is Good

I just wanted to post a quick note to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers as I transition back to a working woman. Things have gone extremely well and I feel so blessed to have such a great career and family. My time with Little Peanut is more precious, but also better spent. I feel that he is in excellent hands and I couldn't ask for more. I truly feel that this is the right decision for my family and I am excited to be back to work. If I am not responding to you all as quickly, please note that my internet time went from about 3 hours a day to about 10 minutes a day:). Thanks again for all your thoughts! Oh...and here's a sweet pic of my little angel!
